This is normal, and you may notice it going away more as the days pass. However, there are ways you can relieve any tenderness sooner. Here are some tips to try out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Steer clear of sticky, hard, cold, and hot foods as they can cause sensitivity.<\/li>\n<li>Rinse with warm salt water to soothe any inflammation.<\/li>\n<li>Take over-the-counter medication as needed, just follow the directions on the bottle.<\/li>\n<li>Brush your teeth with a soft-bristle toothbrush to remove bacteria that can lead to trouble.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Should I Call My Dentist About My Discomfort?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With all that said, some discomfort is expected, but there are some instances where it can be a sign that you need to visit your dentist.
